The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord.

Life's journey is like a battlefield, where we face various challenges that demand our preparation and effort. Proverbs 21:31 reminds us that while we ready ourselves for the battles ahead, true victory ultimately rests in His victorious hands.

In a world that often glorifies self-reliance and individual achievement, this concept challenges us to reconsider our approach. It requires us to trust in something greater than ourselves—to place our faith in our Lord and Savior. While hard work is undoubtedly biblical, there are countless circumstances beyond our control. Surrendering control doesn't diminish human responsibility; rather, it offers a broader perspective that extends beyond personal achievement.

Embracing this mindset requires humility, faith, and resilience. It's about finding solace in adversity and fostering gratitude for the blessings bestowed upon us. It's a recognition that, despite our best efforts, there are limits to what we can achieve alone.
