He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

📘Pastor's Note:
What a glorious description of Jesus! He glows with the radiance of the glory of God. Like the sun, which is the source from which light radiates to Earth, Jesus is the source from which the glory of God radiates to all mankind. He is the EXACT imprint of His nature. This speaks to Jesus’ deity. He IS God! And the universe is upheld by the word of His power. How perfectly written and described! He holds everything together by His power. So bright, so brilliant is the radiance of His glory. Like the childhood song we used to sing, “He holds the whole world in His hands!” He is, as Hebrews 12:2 says, “the founder and perfecter of our faith.” Oh God, how glorious you are!
