1 Timothy 1:15-17Notes From the Pastor's Desk #notesfromthepastorsdesk
📖1 Timothy 1:15-17 (ESV) 15 The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. 16 But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life. 17 To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. 📘Pastor's Note: I thank God for giving us human examples like the Apostle Paul. Before his encounter with the Risen Lord, he was a self-righteous persecutor of those who followed Jesus. But God changed his heart of stone to a heart of flesh! Such examples are an encouragement to me. Some of the smallest words carry the biggest meaning. But my Savior is rich in mercy! Thank you, Jesus, for the "buts" in scripture. My heart rejoices that His mercy runs deep for sinners such as me! Our praise can never match the worthiness of His glorious mercy and patience that He has bestowed upon us! 🙏I'm praying for you always. ❤️God Bless!
