​​📖John 12:37-40 (NIV)
37 Even after Jesus had performed so many signs in their presence, they still would not believe in him. 38 This was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet:
“Lord, who has believed our message
    and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”
39 For this reason they could not believe, because, as Isaiah says elsewhere:
40 “He has blinded their eyes
    and hardened their hearts,
so they can neither see with their eyes,
    nor understand with their hearts,
    nor turn—and I would heal them.”

📘Pastor's Note:
Hard hearts won’t believe, blind eyes can’t see, closed ears can’t hear. Then why preach the message of the Gospel to those who are unwilling to believe, see, or hear? Because we are told to. For those unwilling to open up their hearts to the Truth, it is a message of judgment. But for those of us who believe, it is the grace of God unto salvation. Our objective is the message we carry. It’s God’s work to change hearts.
