Why We Give
At The Grace Place Church, we believe that as followers of Christ, our generous giving through offerings and ministry support is an act of joyful obedience and loving worship.
The Heart of Giving
(2 Corinthians 9:7) Give cheerfully! We want your heart in it more than we want your gift. Your motive for giving is deeply important. Give with thanks. Give with joy. Give with humility. Give in recognition of all that God has done for you.
(2 Corinthians 8:2-5) Give sacrificially! Scripture demonstrates the principle of sacrificial giving. There are times that God may call you to give more. Our encouragement to you is that when you feel the Holy Spirit leading you to do so, be obedient and always allow your sacrificial giving to be motivated by your love for Christ.
(1 Corinthians 16:2) Give regularly! We encourage you to make a spiritual habit of giving. It reflects your heart, your commitment, your faithfulness, and your priority. Tithing regularly helps the Grace Place Church to plan accordingly and to budget wisely.
